Boyzone - Where We Belong (1999)
Release Note
Looking for a more talented and sincere boy band than the usual tripe released by cute guys who can dance really well, who look cool in their videos, and whose latest tour is supported by a major cola company? Boyzone is your band. The music itself may be a tad bland, but the vocals are so well executed and the material itself (especially the covers of Tracy Chapman and Andrew Lloyd Webber) is strong enough to dispel any such criticism. The slow grooving and sensual "All the Time in the World," in particular, is a song so catchy you don't care who catches you singing along to it on the radio. An Irish act who've scored major hits in the U.K., it is a crime that in the U.S. the group has yet to become superstars.
Reissue of British male teen-pop band's 1998 album with two unmarked bonus tracks added, 'No Matter What' and 'I Love The Way You Love Me'. 17 tracks total, also including the hits 'Baby Can I Hold You', 'Picture Of You' & 'All That I Need'. 1998 Polydor release.
